My dream of visiting Peru
Maybe you remember back in April 2012 when I wrote about how it was easier not to plan much in Bolivia. At least I remember it very clearly as it was just yesterday. After visiting one of my favorite places on Earth for 3 days, Uyuni salt flat, I got very sick and the altitude in the mountains just did not help it at all. It was just a few days before I was supposed to be visiting Peru.
Peru was always on top of my bucket list but I wanted to spend longer quality time in the country instead of just doing the Machu Picchu trek like many others. I had a green cloudy Machu Picchu photo torn out of a magazine when I was still a kid. And then also when studying in Madrid for 5 months in 2005, instead of posters of male popstar sweet faces other girls had on the wall, I had a huge Machu Picchu article. Unbelievable, right?
But back in May when one of my biggest travel dreams was so close to reach, I changed my opinion as I needed to heal my sinusitis as soon as possible. In the stunning mountains of Peru it would not be possible, I booked a ticket to Costa Rica beaches instead to let sunbeams and sea water help me.
My huge Peru dream is still here and I really hope I will be able to fulfill it soon finally! Here is a breath-taking video about visiting Peru that inspires me heaps.

I really hope so too even though I have way too many plans for 2013 already and it has not even started yet
I’m with you on Peru! It’s my dream trip right now, especially to be able to see Machu Picchu, but I want to see the rest of the country, too. I’m hoping 2013 is our year to both make it there!
