5 ways how to earn money online while traveling
So many of you are asking me on a daily basis how can I earn money online? Alex, what do you do to be able to travel the world and still make enough money to do that without going broke? Well, as you might have noticed, I have been making living out of my travel blog since September 2010 but not everyone can do that, that’s for sure.
Let’s get inspired with some ideas below.
5 ways how to earn money online while traveling:
1. Freelance
Working as a freelance means you can work from anywhere in the world if you get good wifi. You can write articles for magazines/newspapers or even other blogs, record videos, do copywriting, write content or freelance marketing. The choices are unlimited. We are talking of anythng that can be done via internet.
2. Virtual assistant
Nowadays, in the world of internet, the job of a virtual assistant is getting more and more famous. Many companies, even some bloggers, prefer to pay a virtual assistant to do the basic things for them (read: what they do not enjoy doing, what’s done somewhat automatically, reply to emails, schedule/make plans etc.) Anyone who is good at some online things can become a virtual assistant. I’ve noticed that people tend to hire VA from countries such as Philippines, where the salary is low compared to the Western world, but people still speak good English.
3. Online reseller
I’ve heard that many people are able to make loads of money just selling things online. You can sell anything, and even start selling your own stuff you don’t need any more. First, sell it to your friends and family to learn how to become a better seller. Then you can for example register on Amazon or eBay and sell things there, or work as an online reseller for a bigger company.
4. Sports betting
Are you one of those men who are so into sports that they never stop talking about them? Basketball, football, tennis, golf, you name it? And have you realized you can use your knowledge and also try your luck on some sport betting games? I’ve met some people who literally earn money with online sport betting. Sounds good to you? Give it a try.
5. Translator
Did you know that I studied English and Spanish philology, which means I can work as a translator or interpreter? I randomly translate restaurant menus from Slovak to English after staying at a hotel in my home country. Where I see their menu is horrible, or only in my mother tongue Slovak, I approach them asking if they would like to translate it into English for their foreign guests. It has worked out a few times. So if you speak more languages, you can try your luck and become online translator.

If you prefer to have freedom and even learn new things online, go for it. For me, freedom is the best thing ever. I opt for doing many online things to be able to travel the world whenever I feel like. Because I have just one life, right?
