I loved Sorrento! My reason for visiting was to explore the Amalfi Coast (which was amazing) but I fell in love with Sorrento anyway. What I loved the most was how the main street is closed off to traffic at night so the locals and tourists can stroll up and down the street, socialising and working off their meals and gelato.
