At volcano Rincon de Parangueo
Rincon de Parangueo is one of 7 volcanos situated in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, Mexico not very far away from the capital of Guanajuato. The area is not well-known but is definitely worth a visit. It will leave you with your mouth opened.
The earth there around the water in the crater is not very stable, you have to be careful where you walk and mostly how you walk. Try walking like skiing, no step by step, but move the foot on the surface as if you had skis or skates on.
There are some places where you can submerge into the surface until your knees or even waist, so then do not move as it would get worse. Someone has to help you to get out.
Anyway, the place is a paradise and you can get here through a tunnel with no lights. There is a little fee to pass the tunnel. But the view you get once you are out from the dark – the whole volcano from the above, is something unbelievable.
My trip to Rincon de Parangueo was sponsored by Zooper Bike. However, all the opinions in the post are honest and just mine.
