The view from MSC Preziosa balcony
You remember when I wrote about my first cruise ever that was also MSC Preziosa Maiden Voyage? The week on the cruise was so new to me not only because of fulfilling one of my biggest dreams but also because I personally realized all the preconceived notions about cruising are simply wrong.
I sat down the other day and was wondering what moment I remember the most from all 6 days on MSC Preziosa and surprisingly it was every morning after waking up when I opened the balcony and saw a new destination and as well the last thing before going to bed – checking out the view from MSC Preziosa Yacht Club where I was staying. I can still feel the wind and different air playing with my hair and noise and my excitement each time I opened the balcony door, even at 6 am.
I took a photo of me every morning and every night at the balcony to never forget the refreshing feeling I had there.
The MSC Preziosa route was the following:
– after staying in Genoa for the night of the Christening, we left the town the following day in the afternoon
– Naples and Capri
– La Goulette Tunis
– one day on the sea
– my favorite city Barcelona where we said sad goodbye
My first time on a cruise was a press trip organized by the MSC cruises. I will never be able to thank them enough for such an incredible experience on MSC Preziosa Maiden Voyage! All the opinions in this post are strictly my own.

Great views, looks like an awesome time! I’ve always been hesitant about going on a cruise. As long as I can get out and do some exploring I would be alright, might have to go on one this next year. : )

I was feeling the same until March. Now I am all about cruising, so much fun, so many things to do and great food too :)

Great to hear you enjoyed your time on the cruise! I’ve never considered cruises as something I would want to do but I guess I have many of the same hang-ups as you seem to of had. Looks nice though and I’m sure it was a great relaxing experience.

I’d had the same opinion like you before my first cruise. I mean I always wanted to go but had a few preconceived notions about it too. They all disappeared on MSC Preziosa and now would go on a cruise again :)

Comment@ Sebastian:
Thanks Sebastian for reading my blog ;) Yes, low budget travel is very possible, but it also depends on what you want to do and where you want to stay. There’s always cheaper and more expensive ways ;)

Just found your blog today, looks pretty good.
I’ve never been a world traveler, what’s the best way to start?
I’ve read in other places that traveling is very possible on low budget, but I don’t have a clue, got suggestions?
